The concert, just announced:

Nov. 25, 2019 – Denver, CO – Presented in partnership with Denver Arts & Venues, Latin GRAMMY Award® winner composer/bassist Pedro Giraudo and his quartet join the Colorado Symphony for two evenings of spectacular music in April 2020. The first will take place Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Boettcher Concert Hall with the Colorado Symphony while the second will occur Saturday, April 25, 2020 at the Studio Loft at Ellie Caulkins Opera House with members of the Colorado Symphony.

Giraudo is regarded as one of the most compelling tango artists today— an active cultural ambassador for this beautiful and passionate music of his native Argentina. His compositions represent the evolution of tango, from its roots in the traditional orquesta típica, to tango nuevo as epitomized by Astor Piazzolla, and to his own sound that respects the past and looks to the future, bringing something new and exciting to the form while retaining all its lushness and beauty. His quartet of virtuoso instrumentalists have played the mainstages of the US, including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center.

Single tickets for these performances go on sale November 29, 2019. For concert descriptions and ticket information, please visit coloradosymphony.org/tickets or call the box office at 303.623.7876.
