- Billy has performed solo and with ensemble at numerous New York City clubs and restaurants, including Blue Water Grill, Park Avalon, Club Tatou, China Club, B. Smith's, and many more.
- He is highly sought after for private and corporate events
- He has participated in many performances for the New York City Parks Department and the Brooklyn Arts Council including Central Park, Governors Island, Marine Park, Prospect Park, Coney Island Boardwalk
- He regularly performs for children's shows throughout New York with singer/storyteller Alison DeSalvo (music for children, folksongs from around the world)
- He regularly performs in shows for Hospital Audiences Inc. (HAI) throughout the New York City Shelter System, mental hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes
- In 2001 he participated in the Gospel/Jazz Broadway Performance with singers and choir in a musical for Organization to Stop the Violence against Children
- From 1997 to 2000 he had a regular solo guitar gig at the Joseph Papp Public Theatre
- In 1997 he performed frequently at the Internet Café performance space with his Brazilian Jazz Trio
