Cliff
Korman, David Finck and Paulo Braga are three of the most sought-after
players on the New York (and international) jazz scene, who have played
with just about every top name in jazz at just about every important jazz
venue and festival in the world. When they play together, magic happens.
But the reality has been that, in recent years, Cliff, David and Paulo
have been in such demand by other groups, they’ve too seldom performed
as a group in their own right.
They’re changing that! Cliff Korman and ensemble are now available
with their own musical point of view, which they call “The Brazilian
Tinge,” and their own concept: each booking will feature a special
all-star fourth (or fifth) member(s) guests selected from among the many
top American and Brazilian musicians with whom they've played over the
years*. This concept keeps the ensemble always fresh, always playing at
their peak of enthusiasm, always playing the music they most love, the
music they play together like no other combination of musicians in the
world.
“The Brazilian Tinge” will soon be releasing their first CD
together.
